Musculoskeletal Screening

Musculoskeletal Screening

  • What is Musculoskeletal Screening?
  • How can Musculoskeletal Screening help the general public?

Musculoskeletal Screening  involves individual assessments using specific physical tests and procedures to gain information on several areas of a client’s physical make up. Typical components assessed are:

  • Joint ROM
  • Flexibility
  • Core Strength
  • Functional

The purpose of the screening is to highlight any areas of inefficiency or previous injuries which could be risk factors to injury. It is therefore very much a tool for improving physical health and performance, as well as a tool for injury prevention.

Dance Ready Score

We make use of a key tool to address an issue that many dancers and dance companies have: How do I objectively know where my dancers stand in their performance ability?

The Dance Ready Score is the tool.

What does the Dance Ready Score offer?

  • A short and easily performed test for dancers
  • Fast results (3-5 days) delivered to dancers
  • Valuable data that allows you to track your dancers starting point and inform your training and performance programming
  • Clear guidelines on how to adjust your program for success.
